Sycamore suggested that we add an introduction forum, so here it is.
My name is Mike S. I'm 48, married to the most beautiful woman in the world, (Kathy),for 25 years now and have 3 children, ages 17,20 and 24, and a 5 month old grandson. My sidekick is a 6 year old, 160 pound American Bullldog named Smiley T Shopdog. I own a streetrod shop in northern Ca, and am interested in all aspects of metalwork, machine work, mechanical things and methods of creating useful items from raw materials. My hobbies are motorcycling, off and on road, road trips, camping, and building or repairing just about anything. I collect records and tools. I am a contributing member to several automotive technical forums, and do some civic volunteer work as well.

My interest here came after my father died, he was one of the original founders of Harbor-of-Refuge.org. The folks who use Harbor wanted to keep it alive, so I am doing my best to keep it going for them, and also in his honor.

I don't claim to know anything about bipolar disorder, but only try to make a place here on the 'net for those who do.
